Architect Adolf Krischanitz

Adolf Krischanitz, an international architect with practices in Vienna and Zurich, has designed many structures for the arts and cultural life. Alongside the "21er Haus" and the Kunsthalle Karlsplatz in Vienna, his works include residential, educational and industrial buildings, such as the Novartis Campus in Basel.

In October 2012, he won the project competition to convert the group headquarters of Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. Krischanitz has participated in the Venice international architecture exhibition on several occasions. From 1999-2011, he had a professorship in urban renewal and design at the Berlin University of the Arts.
